This shift bridges the gap between the standard day shift and the night shift, helping businesses maintain operations outside typical business hours. Swing shifts are common in industries like manufacturing, healthcare, customer service, and hospitality, where 24-hour coverage or extended service is needed. Working a swing shift can offer flexibility for workers who prefer not to work early mornings or overnight.
