Senior iOS Engineer Swift/SwiftUI & Apple Frameworks

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid) - Local Or Near by Only (Minimum 3 Days Onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Engineer with deep expertise in native iOS development, Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, application architecture, and the broader Apple ecosystem.

This role is ideal for an engineer who goes beyond building application screens and understands the underlying principles of performance, concurrency, memory management, architecture, and Apple frameworks.

The successful candidate should have experience building and shipping complex production iOS applications and be comfortable discussing technical decisions, architecture, performance optimization, and code quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and develop scalable native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable, and high-performance code.
  • Design modular and testable application architectures using MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns.
  • Apply advanced Swift concepts including concurrency, async/await, protocols, generics, and memory management.
  • Work with Apple APIs and frameworks such as LocalAuthentication, AuthenticationServices, WebKit, CommonCrypto/CryptoKit, and related technologies.
  • Identify and resolve application performance and memory issues using Instruments and profiling tools.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Support the complete iOS application lifecycle, including build, testing, signing, provisioning, deployment, and production support.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile application delivery processes.
  • Mentor developers and promote strong iOS engineering and coding practices.
  • Effectively use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining strong foundational engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong professional experience developing native iOS applications.
  • Advanced hands-on expertise with Swift.
  • Strong experience with both SwiftUI and UIKit.
  • Deep understanding of Swift concurrency, async/await, GCD, protocols, and generics.
  • Strong understanding of memory management, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
  • Experience designing applications using MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, or similar architectural patterns.
  • Experience building and shipping complex production iOS applications.
  • Strong knowledge of the broader Apple SDK and iOS ecosystem.
  • Experience with Xcode, Instruments, performance profiling, debugging, and crash analysis.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications.
  • Understanding of code signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, TestFlight, and application deployment.
  • Experience writing unit-testable code and working with iOS testing frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in Alpharetta, GA at least 3 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LocalAuthentication, AuthenticationServices, WebKit, CommonCrypto, or CryptoKit.
  • Experience developing or integrating APIs.
  • Familiarity with Android/mobile application development.
  • Strong understanding of mobile user experience principles.
  • Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers.
  • Experience using AI-assisted software development tools.
