  • Import Documentation: Ensure all international shipping documents, customs filings, and regulatory paperwork comply with US import laws.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate sales orders, logistics data, KPIs, and freight cost records within company systems.

Communication & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Cross-Continental Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between European manufacturing mills, freight forwarders, US customs brokers, and domestic B2B converters.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and internal global sales and operations teams.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify transport delays or supply gaps and implement swift corrective actions to keep converters informed.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management
  • Proven track record handling ocean freight imports into the USA and navigating US Customs regulations
  • Experience with U.S. domestic freight operations, including full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and intermodal shipping
  • Proven experience managing high-volume B2B sales order administration and customer delivery tracking, with a strong understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms), maritime shipping, cross-border commerce, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and global time zones
  • Experience in a high-volume B2B commodity industry (e.g., paper, packaging, steel, chemicals, or agricultural products), proficiency with SAP (SD/Sales & Distribution and MM/Materials Management modules), and experience working within a global, multicultural organization supporting collaboration between U.S. and European operations are highly preferred but not required

Our Offer:
