Job & Responsibilities:
IT Engineer I participates in software engineering development projects.

Uses both hardware and software engineering experience to aid project planning, design, business analysis, development, test and vendor management.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. 3-4 years related work experience.

MUST WORK ON SITE IN OVERLAND PARK OFFICE ****

Shift flexibility required: Least one weekend day (Sat or Sun) and that could be dayshift or evening. If evening, their shift will end no later than 10pm.

This is a Tier 2 support position with IT Network Operations and position requires 11X7 support. Tier2 personnel are also responsible for providing second level support for network equipment including routers, switches, content engines, broadband modems, Rap5s and AP105s. In addition, Tier 2 personnel will work with vendors who manage multiple carriers/LEC s for connectivity restoral and assist with managing chronic issues to permanent solution.

Also may get involved in supporting/troubleshooting wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms to include broadband (cable, dsl, metro E), T1 circuit infrastructure and wifi networks.

Will accept recent college graduates.
