Description:

Cornerstone Builders of SWFL is hiring a skilled and motivated Rough Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience framing walls, floors, residential remodeling. We are looking for dependable team players with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demolition
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
  • Build and install framing components for residential remodeling
  • Read and interpret drawings, and project specifications
  • Protection installation
  • Trenching concrete
  • Concrete foundation repairs/slab prep
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ensure structures are level, plumb, and square
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
  • Communicate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion
Requirements:


  • 2+ years of proven experience as a rough carpenter
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs
  • Clean driving record, ability to drive company vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working in residential remodeling
