Swedish Neuro-Ophthalmology | Swedish Neuroscience Institute

Neuro-Ophthalmologist (MD) - 0.6 FTE

Swedish Medical Group is seeking a part-time Neuro Ophthalmologist at the Cherry Hill campus in Seattle, Washington.

Practice Overview:

  • Established neuro-ophthalmology practice within the Swedish Neuroscience Institute (10+ years).
  • Current team includes 2 Neuro-Ophthalmologist physicians (1.4 FTE total).
  • Strong multidisciplinary collaboration with neurology and neurosurgery
  • Robust clinical support including patient care coordinators, ophthalmic technicians, and a dedicated clinic RN

Schedule & Volume:

  • 0.6 FTE (21.6 patient-facing hours) with a predictable, fixed schedule
  • Clinical days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Clinic hours are weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Daily volumes range from 8 to 16 patients, capped at 16 per day
  • New patient visits are 60 minutes; follow-up visits are 30 minutes

Procedures & Resources:

  • In-clinic Botox procedures with a dedicated half-day block
  • Advanced diagnostic tools including OCT, Humphrey and Goldman visual fields, and B-scan ultrasound
