Job description

Location: Portland, OR (Swan Island)

Schedule:
Sundayโ€“Thursday | 3:00pm start (until finished)ย 

A Day in the Life as a Picker:

Pickers are a key part of keeping Maletis Beverage running smoothly. In this hands-on role, youโ€™ll build orders for delivery by selecting and stacking products in our warehouse using a voice-directed system. Think of it like a real-life game of Tetrisโ€”strategically stacking pallets to ensure safe and efficient deliveries.

Our warehouse is temperature-controlled (never too hot or too cold), and this role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working both independently and as part of a team, and meeting daily goals.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Pick and stack beverage products accurately using a voice-picking system
  • Build stable, organized pallets for delivery routes
  • Load and move product using pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to complete nightly orders
  • Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (for illegal drugs)
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
  • Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Able to work independently and stay motivated

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift/carry up to 45lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Push/pull and move product using warehouse equipment
  • Perform repetitive bending, lifting, and stacking
