Tell us about the unit(s):

·       Number of Beds -24

·       Number of Staff – 50

·       Type of staff:

o   Day Shift –1 CNC 12 RN’s, 1 Unit Secretary1-3 sitters/week

o   Night Shift – 1 CNC 12 RN’s, 1-3 sitters/week

·       Patient Ratios – 1:1 or :2

·       Type of equipment – Vents, Swans, Impella’s, Balloon pumps

·       EMR -

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·       Lack of ICU experience

·        

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·       Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

·       CV surgery experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·       Intubation, Central lines, bronchoscopy, EVD’s, ICP monitoring, Swan 

·        Pacers, Bolts

Best personality Fit:

·        Excellent customer Service skills

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·       BLS, ACLS

Floating Area(s):

·       Doctors ICU

Dress Code:

·       Scrub Color/Attire -  Royal Blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

·        

Weekends and On call(if any)

·       Every other weekend, May be placed on call if not needed on the shift they are scheduled to work but only for that shift.  No other call expectations.
