Swag information

What is a swag?

A Swag job typically involves managing branded merchandise, promotional products, and giveaways for a company or organization. Responsibilities may include selecting, designing, ordering, and distributing swag items for events, employees, or marketing campaigns. This role often falls within marketing, HR, or event planning teams to enhance brand recognition and employee engagement.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals responsible for managing company swag programs?

Professionals managing company swag programs often face challenges such as coordinating with multiple vendors to ensure product quality and timely delivery, managing inventory to prevent overstock or shortages, and aligning swag choices with company branding and values. Additionally, they must navigate budget constraints and ensure that swag distribution is meaningful and engaging for recipients, whether employees or clients. Effective communication and organization skills are essential to handle these complexities and to collaborate with marketing, HR, and events teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a swag manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Swag Manager, you need strong organizational skills, experience in procurement or event planning, and often a background in marketing or communications. Familiarity with inventory management systems, vendor negotiation platforms, and design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is typically beneficial. Creativity, attention to detail, and effective interpersonal communication set top performers apart in this role. These skills ensure seamless swag production, effective brand representation, and positive stakeholder experiences.

Description

In this role, you will introduce your peers to Chameleon Coffee’s Ready-to-Drink Flash Brew cans and help make them the coffee beverage students reach for during study breaks, campus events, and everyday hangouts.

Your main tasks are to: (1) Distribute Chameleon Coffee Ready-to-Drink Flash Brew can samples through fun events — tabling events in populated areas on your campus and product drops within various student organizations ; (2) Create and share engaging social media content on your personal Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Note: We're selecting multiple Brand Ambassadors at each university. If you know friends who would be interested, share this job and encourage them to apply — you might get to work together!

Timeline: This opportunity runs through the Fall 2026 semester/quarter.

About Chameleon Coffee:

Chameleon Cold Brew Coffee, the original organic cold brew, got its start in Austin, Texas, when their founders set out to make the best-tasting cold-brew around, back when cold-brew wasn't even really a thing. After months of experimenting with brewing time, temperature, and technique, they landed on their signature process using select, air-roasted, certified organic Arabica beans.

The name "Chameleon" reflects their belief that coffee should shift with your mood, not be locked into one rigid way of drinking it, and to this day the brand refuses to compromise on ingredients, sustainability, or brewing craft in favor of gimmicks or big ad budgets. Their mission is simple: make coffee they'd actually want to drink themselves, brewed thoughtfully and sourced responsibly from the ground up.

Follow Chameleon Coffee on TikTok and Instagram, and learn more about the brand on its website!

About Our Ready-to-Drink Flash Brew Cans:

Our ready-to-drink flash brew cans bring that same craft cold-brew into a grab-and-go format made for real life. Each can provides 200 mg of L-theanine to help smooth out the caffeine's edge so you get steady energy without the jitters or crash. Three of our flavors, Latte Classic, Latte Double Shot, and Flat White Classic, are made with A2 milk, which is known for its easy digestion, while our Nitro Cold Brew brings a smooth and bold dairy free option. On top of that, we keep the flavors clean and fun, with nothing artificial weighing things down, so you get a can that tastes great and feels great too, whether you're grabbing it on your way out the door or cracking one open mid-afternoon.

Benefits
  • Earn an $875 stipend for successful completion of your program deliverables. Payouts for completed deliverables are processed every two weeks via PayPal or Venmo.
  • Additional opportunities to earn cash bonuses throughout the program
  • Receive free Chameleon Coffee merch/swag to use at your activations & wear around campus
  • Enjoy a fun, flexible opportunity you can shape around your busy college schedule
  • Gain valuable entrepreneurial experience in marketing and communication
Responsibilities

Over the course of the Fall 2026 semester/quarter, you'll complete the following program deliverables:

  • Distribute up to 500 Chameleon Coffee Ready-to-Drink Flash Brew cans. You will distribute samples through a combination of tabling events and student organization product drops.
  • 5 TikTok Posts - the best content may receive additional promotion, giving you greater visibility and the opportunity to grow your social media following.
  • 2 Instagram Posts - IG static in-feed posts + carousels and/or Reels
  • 5 Instagram Stories

In addition to the tasks above, you will also be responsible for the following:

  • Join a virtual training call and scheduled program support calls to set you up for success
  • Stay in touch with the EvolveZ team via Slack to report work progress throughout the program
  • Capture & submit picture and video content throughout the program
  • Encourage those who receive a product sample to complete a short survey
  • Share product feedback throughout the program
  • Complete your deliverables in line with the task due dates shared during virtual training, with work spaced throughout the quarter/semester
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be a currently enrolled college student, on campus this upcoming Fall 2026 semester/quarter (September – December 2026)
  • Should not promote or create content for other beverage brands during the program, as this dilutes your effectiveness as a Chameleon Coffee advocate. Disclose other brand partnerships to EvolveZ during the program.
  • This is a paid, project-based 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity. You must be legally eligible to work in the US (US Citizens or Permanent Residents).
  • Passionate about event planning, social content creation & promotion, and being a trendsetter for new products amongst your peers. Added bonus if you already love OLIPOP!
  • The ability to connect with on-campus organizations (Greek Life/campus clubs) is preferred.
  • A strong & “brand safe” presence on Instagram & TikTok is required.
    • For Instagram, we require applicants to have at least 1,000 followers with strong engagement rates.
    • For TikTok, we require applicants to consistently have videos that generate over 500 views.
    • Content on both platforms should avoid offensive language, inappropriate behavior, depictions of illegal or unsafe activities, cursing (including in music), profane gestures or actions, underage drinking, and overly religious or political topics.
  • Must make your Instagram & TikTok accounts public and unhide likes throughout the program
