The Senior Vice President,TechnologyOperations is responsible for leading and managing all internal information technology operations, infrastructure, and systems. This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of core IT services that support organizational objectives and enable business continuity.

This position is open to candidates in the Washington, DC area.

What You'll Do
  • Execute the strategic direction for IT operations, support services, and security functions, ensuring alignment with ICBA's long-term organizational goals and business strategy.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between IT and other departments, executive leadership, and external partners to ensure technology initiatives support organizational goals.
  • Provide IT leadership and sponsorship for cross-functional projects, facilitating stakeholder engagement and driving successful outcomes.
  • Oversee the performance and development of IT teams, including direct reports and service desk staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for IT service delivery, ensuring excellence in customer experience and operational outcomes.
  • Lead enterprise-wide IT governance, risk management, and compliance programs, ensuring robust security, regulatory adherence, and business continuity.
  • Direct the evaluation, prioritization and execution of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor agile processes and sprint ceremonies at the enterprise level, ensuring project delivery aligns with strategic objectives and timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT business processes, leveraging best practices to enhance scalability, efficiency, and value creation.
  • Collaborate with the CIO to develop and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Provide leadership oversight for security monitoring, incident response, and proactive risk mitigation across all IT operations.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of security policies, ensuring they meet evolving organizational needs and compliance requirements.
  • Champion innovation and digital transformation initiatives, driving adoption of emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable delivery of audiovisual and technical support across all ICBA locations, supporting seamless business operations.
  • Oversee administration of software licenses, service contracts, and inventory management, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide leadership to direct reports by setting clear goals, managing performance through regular coaching and feedback, and fostering an inclusive, high performing team culture.
What You Bring
  • Master's degree (or bachelor's degree and equivalent experience) and 10+ years of senior management experience required.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems administration, and/or technical support.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional IT teams.
  • Proven leadership experience managing helpdesk teams or an MSP vendor relationship.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile methodologies, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence outcome.

The target annual salary range for this role is currently $160,000 to $185,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, location, market data and internal equity.
