The Vice President, Brand Experience plays a key role in leading media strategy and providing thought leadership for a high-profile client account. Reporting into the SVP, Brand Experience, this role is responsible for developing innovative media solutions, overseeing the execution of integrated media plans, and ensuring the agency's work exceeds client expectations. The VP will serve as a key client contact, driving strategy, building relationships, and mentoring a talented team of media professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as key primary media lead for senior-level client contacts, providing strategic direction and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Oversee the development and execution of holistic, cross-channel media strategies, including digital, programmatic, national, local, and other media types to meet client business objectives.
  • Lead the team in delivering innovative media solutions that challenge the status quo and drive business results. Proactively identify opportunities for growth, presenting new ideas and approaches to the client.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of media planners and strategists, fostering collaboration and high performance. Ensure the team's work is aligned with client goals and agency standards.
  • Collaborate with the client and SVP to establish and manage annual budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Track and report on budget performance, making adjustments as needed.
  • Partner with internal teams across investment, data, and analytics to create integrated solutions. Collaborate closely with creative, technology, and research teams to drive cross-platform media initiatives.
  • Lead the development of client presentations, insights, strategic updates, and POVs, ensuring clarity and impact. Communicate complex strategies and results effectively to both senior and junior client stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and media innovations, ensuring that the team and client remain competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of media planning and buying experience, with progressive responsibility across digital and traditional media.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow high-profile client relationships, delivering exceptional media strategies that get results.
  • Extensive experience with all media types, including digital (display, search, social, mobile), programmatic, national and local TV, print, radio, OOH, and more.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing and developing talent at various levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence client decisions and present compelling strategic ideas.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovative solutions.
  • Fluency with media planning tools like MediaTools, and a solid understanding of data and analytics to inform strategy.
  • Previous pharma experience required.

 Compensation Range: USD $149,340.00 - USD $239,148.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
