Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, CA.

Sutter Sacramento is seeking enthusiastic OBGYN Hospitalists to join our innovative OBGYN Hospitalist Program. What You'll Do

Labor & Delivery Leadership Management: Manage births in partnership with Certified Nurse Midwives and support an active, high-acuity L&D unit.

OBED / Triage: Evaluates all non-labor patients presenting to OBED triage.  Admits and manages all unassigned ("no doc") patients when needed.   

Surgical & Procedural Care: Perform GYN procedures and GYN surgeries as needed, ensuring smooth and timely inpatient care.

High-Risk Obstetrics Collaboration: Partner closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine to care for highrisk antepartum patients.

  • Full-time equivalence: 13 shifts per 28 days
  • COMPENSATION: 1.0 FTE Day Shift: $400,000, 1.0 FTE Night Shift: $460,000
  • Additional productivity bonus
  • $50,000 Sign on bonus
  • Relocation assistance of up to $20,000
  • Residency stipend up to $3,000 per month 
  • Forgivable loan of up to $200,000
