Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Must-Have: Experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, and Epic charting system
Description:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience is required.
The position requires BLS, CRT (R)(M), and ARRT (R)(M) certifications.
Candidates must have two years of recent relevant experience.
The shift details include 5x8-hour shifts, with occasional Saturday and evening requirements.
Familiarity with various mammography procedures is essential.
Skills required include Digital Quality Assurance Procedures, Fine Needle Aspiration, Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX, and Clienttion Safety.
Additional requirements include Knowledge of Stereotactic Biopsy and Needle Localizations.
Candidates should be prepared to follow Universal Precautions and Core Measures.
The patient age groups served include Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
The daily census is approximately 150 with around 150 visits per day.
Candidates may be required to float to other locations if census is low on the home unit.
Seven years of work history verification is required for all candidates.
All certifications must be current and in hand at the time of the application.
Candidates must provide accurate work history going back seven years from their start date.
Documentation or contacts for verification may be required if any positions cannot be verified.
