Position Summary:

The Product Manager, On Market Hemostasis Systems, is responsible for managing our portfolio of clinical analyzers to ensure our regions and customers have the products they need when they need them, around the world. This role will support the execution and delivery of new product launches globally, develop the lifecycle plan for the current products on market and drive sustaining and refresh programs for the systems in need.

Working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Operations, Technical Services, and Marketing Management, the Product Manager will support market adoption and optimize portfolio performance throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in the management of capital equipment, especially in the diagnostic or life sciences sector, coupled with a proven track record in regional product marketing, commercial strategy, and sales. Experience in both marketing and customer-facing commercial roles is essential to effectively support our customer and regional needs around the world. Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the full product lifecycle from concept through commercialization as the primary owner for growth, sustaining and end-of-life planning.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform portfolio and product strategies.
  • Support global launch planning and execution for new hemostasis products.
  • Monitor product performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability objectives together with Marketing Management.
  • Support key customer engagements, advisory boards, scientific meetings, and industry conferences.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and Technical Services to support on-market products and sustainment activities.
  • Partner with external technology and industry stakeholders to advance portfolio objectives.
  • Contribute to business planning, forecasting, and strategic portfolio reviews.
  • Own escalation and resolution of product-related issues and proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to build product forecasts and installation schedules to ensure the right instruments are in the right markets on time

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong marketing and product management skills.
  • Strong customer engagement, strategic partnership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of hemostasis diagnostics and laboratory workflows ideal, but experience in life sciences and other diagnostics desired.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience driving revenue growth and portfolio performance.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate across global cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, forecasting, and business planning.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • MBA, master’s degree, or advanced scientific degree preferred.
  • Preferred 5 years of product management, product marketing, or commercial experience within the in vitro diagnostics (IVD), clinical diagnostics, or medical device industry.
  • Direct experience managing systems, or diagnostic product portfolios with a focus in Hemostasis is strongly preferred.
  • Prior regional marketing experience is required, global desired.
  • Prior sales experience is required, including direct customer-facing responsibility, sales support, account management, or field commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with sales organizations to achieve commercial objectives.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

  • Knowledge in Life Sciences:  Medical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry
  • Bachelor's degree in biological science, business administration or marketing discipline, or equivalent.  Prior experience in junior marketing product management positions
  • Minimum three years' experience in sales and/or marketing within the healthcare industry

Travel Requirements:

  • Approximately 25% of time, including customer visits, conferences, and internal meetings.

The annual base salary range for this role is currently $125,000 to $150,000. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.

This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave. Our sales roles are eligible for participation in a commission plan and our management, and select professional roles, are eligible for a performance-based bonus.
