Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a Packline Production Associate to join their team. As a Packline Production Associate, you will be part of the Production Team supporting the production and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packline Production Associate

Location: Frankfort, MI

Pay Range: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour based on role, and +$2/hr for night shift where available.

Shift:1st and 2nd shift, 2 days on, 2 days off schedule with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends.

What's the Job?

  • Perform a variety of production and packaging functions to support efficient plant operations.
  • Rotate between workstations including dicing, blending, packaging, box making, and pack line operations.
  • Package finished products accurately and efficiently for customer shipment.
  • Read and interpret product codes, labels, gauges, and production documentation.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

What's Needed?

  • Must be able to see/differentiate all primary colors and use ladders/work on elevated platforms.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, climb, reach and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
