Job description

 Legends Field Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Survey Technician to support our surveying and mapping operations. This position plays a key role in processing field data, preparing survey deliverables, drafting plats and exhibits, and assisting project managers and field crews with accurate and timely project support. The ideal candidate is organized, technically capable, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process and organize field-collected survey data
  • Prepare survey drawings, plats, maps, exhibits, and legal descriptions
  • Assist with boundary, topographic, route, easement, and construction survey projects
  • Draft survey deliverables using CAD software
  • Maintain project files, records, and documentation
  • Coordinate with field crews, project managers, and clients as needed
  • Perform deed research, record research, and support boundary analysis
  • Review field notes and data for completeness and accuracy
  • Support staking calculations, alignments, and survey computations
  • Help ensure deliverables meet company quality standards and project deadlines
