Job description

Phasor Engineering Inc. is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (P.L.S./C.L.S.) for a permanent position to support our growing operations across Canada. With a strong pipeline of large-scale projects, we are well positioned for continued growth and are looking to expand our team with experienced survey professionals. #Engineering

This role can be based out of the city where it is posted, with flexible work arrangements including hybrid or work-from-home options considered for the right candidate.

The successful candidate must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in one or more Canadian jurisdictions (e.g., Alberta Land Surveyor (A.L.S.) or New Brunswick Land Surveyor (N.B.L.S.)). Candidates willing to obtain additional provincial or territorial licenses will be supported, and Phasor will cover all associated costs.

Responsibilities

· Managing all aspects of project execution

· The Project/Regional Manager

· Must establish communication protocols for the project which will include:

· Identification of Client or Phasor interest holders and decision makers

· Change management

· Information dissemination routes and procedures

· Systematic processes for project data and reporting

· Is responsible for project financials and must establish cost controls and perform periodic reviews to identify any risks

· Must liaise with Phasor personnel on a project to understand all project requirements including scheduling, cost, technical and logistic considerations.     

· Will manage any sub-contractors that are performing Geomatics work on a project

· Will manage shift schedules, accommodations and mobilization requirements for Crew Chiefs and Survey Assistants unless this work has been delegated to a Field Coordinator.

· Must participate in division-level meetings to coordinate the Crew Allocation between projects
