Sandis is currently looking for a Land Surveying Project Manager to join our team in Campbell or Modesto. Our ideal candidate has previous experience in Construction Staking and/or Boundary and Topographical Mapping Survey projects.   • Manages survey activities for the performance and work accomplishment of all projects/contracts.
  • Coordinates with all project members, attending/running meetings and assuring that all project documentation is maintained including change orders.
  • Relationship development with clients to share progress, level of effort expended.
  • Executes project set-up including reviewing and complying with contract component checklist
  • Develop efficiency gains for team and peers, through mentoring, leading department teaching programs and team building.
  • Monitor team utilization and implement procedures to make positive changes.
  • Maintain awareness of budgets and schedules.
  • Prospect for potential new clients in need of Survey services.
  • Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.

What Will Help You Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Geomatics or a relatable field
  • PLS required
  • 8+ years' experience in construction surveying experience (field & office)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Liquid Planner.
  • Expert understanding of scope and level effort
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow through.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with staff, peers, and clients.
