Job description

Project Manager. Filanc. Phoenix, Arizona. Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of Water and Wastewater projects, including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and booster pump/ transfer stations. Coordinate and manage onsite construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Review and select construction and engineering methods, and resolve technical engineering issues. Prepare and update construction project schedules, budgets, and cost reports. Communicate with clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies to address engineering requirements. Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to inform engineering planning and design. Oversee the timely submission and completion of documentation like reports, daily logs and progress updates required by owner and engineer. Ensure construction work adheres to environmental, safety, and quality standard. Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan project layouts and construction procedures. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members. Supervise up to two (2) direct reports in the positions of Project Engineer and Superintendent.
Requires: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field. One year of experience in any water or wastewater treatment engineering role. One year of experience managing RFIs and RFPs in the Procore for water, wastewater, or industrial plants. Travel to domestic worksite locations 90%.
