Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Performs replacement of any failed video and surveillance equipment.
  • Monitors inventory levels for the surveillance department and notifies proper personnel of low stock.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoots equipment failures.
  • Troubleshoots and replaces any and all related equipment without assistance.
  • Assists in the installation, set-up, and checkout of new equipment and other technical equipment or operations related equipment.
  • Observes the facility via the CCTV system when not performing maintenance duties.
  • Ensures proper installation and operation of all video and recording equipment.
  • Answers service calls and summons proper person if a repair cannot be made.
  • Observes all video lottery regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the integrity of the operation and related equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times.
  • Responsible for the security of assigned keys and radio from check-in to check-out.
  • Responsible for completing all regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly.
  • Tags repairable parts noting appropriate information.
  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
  • Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
  • Follows all relevant policies and procedures.
  • When assigned to the CCTV monitoring room:
  • “Patrols” the facility through the use of PTZ and fixed cameras recording all pertinent activity on the Surveillance system. Logs and marks video clips and files them in one of several repositories depending on the Surveillance system.
  • Monitors fire alarm panel and responds to fire alarms and system troubles notifying proper persons in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepares daily logs of all pertinent activity. Completes reports of suspicious activity and incidents in accordance with surveillance policy and procedure manual.
  • Records questionable activity for review and possible use as evidence in court as directed.
  • Conducts same type of observations of the gaming areas as directed.
  • “Patrols” the facility entrances, the cashiers’ cage, coin vault and count rooms.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as schedule.
  • Must be able to distinguish all colors.
