The Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in our client's surgical team, assisting in preparing the operating room, arranging equipment, and providing support during surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience for our patients. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to life-saving surgeries.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
  • Assist in positioning and prepping the patient for surgery.
  • Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, troubleshoot equipment issues, and respond quickly to emergent situations.
  • Assist with the cleaning and restocking of the operating room after surgery.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid Surgical Technologist certification in California.
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to dynamic surgical situations.
