Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking aSurgical Technologist for the Main Surgery Department.We are looking for a dedicated team member with outstanding clinical skills, who has the ability to multitask, stay organized and deliver excellent care in an efficient and compassionate manner.Our Inpatient Surgery is a 17 suite OR which includes: Ortho, Neuro, Spine,Bariatric, GYN, Robotic, Vascular, Endovascular, Urology, Plastics and General cases. Combinations of inpatient and outpatient procedures are performed on a mainly adult population and IPS averages 850 procedures monthly. Specialty team based practice is our foundation for providing consistent, knowledgeable and experienced staff to meet our customers' needs.The Surgical Tech will be responsible for setting up sterile supplies and assisting surgeons.

Part Time / Weekend Day Shift

0.9 FTE / 36 hours per week / 12 hour shifts

Qualifications for Surgical Technologist

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based training program.

  • Surgical Technologist licensure in the State of Washington required.

  • Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.

  • Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.

  • One - two years of OR experience preferred.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
