Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a surgical manager?

To thrive as a Surgical Manager, you need strong leadership abilities, clinical knowledge in surgical care, and often a background in nursing or healthcare management with relevant licensure or certification. Familiarity with operating room scheduling software, electronic health records (EHRs), and quality assurance systems is typically required.
