We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team in Carville. In this essential role, you will play a key part in preparing the operating room, assisting during surgeries, and maintaining a sterile field to ensure patient safety. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of every procedure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and organize the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain a sterile field during surgery, ensuring that sterile techniques are followed
  • Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and materials during procedures
  • Perform accurate counts of instruments and materials before, during, and after surgery
  • Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery
  • Clean and restock the operating room after each procedure
