- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations by passing instruments and supplies. - Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols. - Perform preoperative and postoperative tasks, including patient preparation and equipment sterilization.

- Ensure the availability and functionality of surgical equipment and supplies. - Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and inventory. Responsibilities: - Patient Preparation: Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.

- Surgical Assistance: Provide direct support to surgeons during operations by handing instruments, retracting tissues, and managing surgical equipment. - Instrument Management: Ensure surgical instruments are properly sterilized, counted, and available during procedures. - Environment Maintenance: Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.

- Postoperative Care: Assist in postoperative patient care and the clean-up of the operating room. - Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. - Education and Training: Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and participate in training and educational programs.

Requirements: - Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). - Licensure: Active certification and licensure as required by state regulations. - Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

- Experience: Prior clinical experience in a surgical setting is preferred. - Skills: Proficiency in surgical techniques, instrument handling, and sterile processing.
