Job description

Advanced Practice Provider – Inpatient Surgical OR – Piedmont Rockdale Hospital
 

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Vascular Surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Rockdale campus located in Conyers, GA. Shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week with varying call responsibilities. This position may also occasionally provide some inpatient cross coverage for other Cardiovascular service lines, such as Cardiology.


In this position you will:

  • Perform OR first assist duties
  • Round on patients in the hospital
  • Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients
  • Evaluate Cardiovascular patients in the office setting
  • Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in intensive care areas.
  • Contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Preferred Experience:

Previous Vascular Surgery with operative experience preferred.   Will consider those with previous Cardiovascular experience and an operative interest.
