Responsibilities

The Department of Surgery at the University of South Alabama is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Colorectal Surgeon at the Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level to join the faculty as a Colorectal Surgeon in Mobile, Alabama. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in academic surgery in the areas of patient care, medical education, and research. Applicants should be board eligible or boarded by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Teaching general surgery residents, medical students, and advanced practitioners is an integral part of the program.
