 Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Sales Advisor to help homeowners understand their electrical repair, upgrade, and safety options. In this role, you'll evaluate electrical systems, present clear and honest solutions, and guide customers through decisions on repairs, panel replacements, generators, EV chargers, and more — all while building trust and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You'll work closely with electrical technicians, install teams, dispatch, and management to make sure every sold job is properly documented, scheduled, and completed to company standards.


This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, technically knowledgeable, and skilled at building value in a recommendation without high-pressure sales tactics.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners to evaluate electrical concerns and recommend solutions
  • Present multiple repair and replacement options, including good/better/best choices
  • Educate customers on electrical safety, code compliance, and system performance
  • Identify opportunities for repairs, upgrades, surge protection, panel replacements, generators, EV chargers, lighting upgrades, rewires, and safety corrections
  • Build accurate estimates and proposals using ServiceTitan
  • Discuss financing and payment options, and collect deposits and signatures for sold work
  • Ensure sold jobs include complete notes, photos, material requirements, permits, and scope details
  • Coordinate with install management and permitting teams for smooth job execution
  • Verify sold work meets company standards and local electrical codes
  • Follow up on unsold estimates and pending customer decisions
  • Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, dispatch, and office staff
  • Participate in team meetings, ride-alongs, and sales training/coaching sessions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of electrical experience preferred
  • Prior in-home sales experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and code requirements
  • Experience with panel replacements, generators, EV chargers, surge protection, rewires, and troubleshooting preferred
  • Comfortable presenting pricing and financing options to homeowners
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience using ServiceTitan preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
