Are you passionate about supporting caregivers of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities? At Little Stars Therapy Services (LSTS), we are committed to not only providing the highest quality ABA therapy to our clients but also to offering critical support to the caregivers who play a key role in their development. We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team and be a vital resource for caregivers navigating ABA services and behavioral challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional and practical support to caregivers of children receiving ABA therapy.
  • Educate and coach caregivers on ABA principles and how to implement behavior support strategies at home.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with caregivers, offering guidance on managing challenging behaviors and reinforcing therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and ABA therapists to ensure consistent, individualized caregiver support that aligns with clients' treatment plans.
  • Facilitate workshops, trainings, and group support sessions focused on ABA-related topics and family dynamics.
  • Assist caregivers with accessing community resources and additional services to support their child's growth and development.
  • Monitor and address caregiver concerns, stressors, and needs, creating a feedback loop with the clinical team for holistic care.
For the Caregiver Support Specialist, a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, special education, or a related field is required.
