Job description

The Best Western Plus Sports Complex is seeking a motivated, reliable, and welcoming Guest Service Agent to join our front desk team! As the face of our hotel, you will play a key role in creating exceptional experiences for our guests from arrival to departure.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Warm Guest Welcome: Greeting arriving, departing, and in-house guests with a friendly, professional demeanor and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process.
  • Reservations & Inquiries: Take accurate room reservations, answer phone calls, and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Guest Experience & Support: Serve as a knowledgeable local guide by providing advice on transportation, local restaurants, and sports complex events. Explain all hotel amenities clearly at check-in.
  • Special Requests & VIPs: Monitor, log, and fulfill special guest requests, VIP preferences, messages, packages, and mail in a timely manner.
  • System & Payment Processing: Efficiently operate the front desk computer system to process guest payments, post charges, and manage bookings accurately.
  • Promotions & Rate Knowledge: Stay informed on current rate packages, hotel promotions, group bookings, and restricted/blackout dates.
  • Shift Operations: Complete all assigned tasks on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to brand standards and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements
