Job description

The work
The ABAP Development Lead will manage RICEFW delivery across reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, ABAP/RAP/CDS/OData development, technical design, quality assurance, and unit testing. They are responsible for technical design oversight, build governance, code review, DevOps promotion, unit testing coordination, defect remediation, performance tuning, and release readiness. This resource will deliver technical designs, build/unittest evidence, code reviews, transport inputs, defect logs, performance notes, and KT/runbook inputs. Critical capabilities include ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData, Fiori extensibility, forms, enhancements, clean core principles, utilities data model expertise, and integration/conversion patterns.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead RICEFW delivery across reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, and ABAP/RAP/CDS/OData development
  • Oversee technical design, build governance, and code review
  • Coordinate unit testing and support defect remediation
  • Support DevOps promotion and ensure release readiness
  • Perform performance tuning across technical components
  • Deliver technical designs, build/unittest evidence, code reviews, transport inputs, defect logs, performance notes, and KT/runbook inputs
  • Apply expertise in ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData, Fiori extensibility, forms, enhancements, clean core principles, utilities data models, and integration/conversion patterns
