Salary range is 115-135k/yr. but is dependent upon the candidate's skills, experience, education and certifications.

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Pega Application Developer. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting design/development. The place of performance for this position is in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
  • Design applications to support business processes and operational requirements.
  • Build and develop Pega applications using Pega development tools and best practices.
  • Configure applications and workflows to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Support application requirements implementation by translating business needs into Pega solutions.
  • Develop software within a secure government environment requiring a Top Secret clearance.
  • Utilize Pega Architecture concepts in application design and implementation.
  • Perform Pega software application development at an intermediate proficiency level.
  • Participate in integration development activities between Pega and other systems (preferred).
  • Support DevOps-related practices and deployment processes (preferred).
  • Work within an Agile development environment (preferred).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience with Pega PRPC.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Pega certification (CSA, CSSA, or CLSA) preferred.
  • Pega System Architect Certification.
  • Experience in Agile.
  • Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience.
  • Integration development experience.
  • DevOps experience.
  • Pega Architecture Experience (Beginner).
  • Pega Software Application Development (Intermediate).
  • Excellent communications (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with little to no oversight.
