Job description

This is a remote position.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Workday Supply Chain Technology & Analytics Analyst to support supply chain operations through data analysis, process automation, technology optimization, and decision-support solutions. This role works across supply chain and business teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop technology-enabled solutions, and provide actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and information flow.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with an understanding of supply chain processes and enterprise systems - specifically Workday. This individual will design and support reporting solutions, automation tools, and applications while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, document, and implement process automation solutions and decision-support tools that address complex business requirements.

  • Analyze supply chain and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement.

  • Extract, transform, and present data using reporting and analytics tools to support supply chain performance and decision-making.

  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities, and develop intuitive technology solutions.

  • Lead and coordinate project activities, including project plans, roadmaps, requirements, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization.

  • Identify and resolve system defects and optimize existing technology implementations.

  • Develop and implement controls to support business-process integrity and data accuracy.

  • Maintain technical documentation and provide training and functional support for supply chain technology solutions.

  • Serve as a technical resource for systems and applications used within supply chain operations.

  • Coordinate system enhancements, integrations, and updates with technology and business teams across the organization.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives involving supply chain systems, processes, reporting, and automation.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent technical training and relevant professional experience may also be considered.

  • At least 1 year of experience in technology management, process improvement, data analytics, application development, or a related area specifically in configuring and managing a Workday Supply Chain environment.

  • Workday Supply Chain Certification

  • Demonstrated experience extracting, analyzing, and validating data from multiple information systems.

  • Experience with database, reporting, or analytics technologies such as SQL, Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau.

  • Experience with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, SQL, VBA, or Java.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.


Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience implementing, supporting, or utilizing supply chain technology solutions.

  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications.

  • Understanding of supply chain operations, workflows, and performance metrics.

  • Experience developing process automation or decision-support solutions.

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and stay current with relevant technology trends.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships with business users, technical teams, peers, and senior leadership.
