Job Description
The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chain activities. The planner develops and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth and sustainment. The planner supports execution of programs and coordination of new program / product launches. SCP monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
The Supply Chain Planner optimizes how supply chain management interfaces with manufacturing systems. SCP will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. Planner will support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals.
As a senior planner, this position requires that the individual possess a strong understanding of procurement and planning process steps; the individual must be capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure success for the program. Candidate will be expected to train and mentor junior level supply chain team members. This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan, and accomplish department objectives with a wide degree of creativity, continuous improvement approach, and latitude expected to fulfill a variety of duties.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree Business/Supply Chain or related field
  • 5+ years equivalent work experience
  • Planning experience in a large multifaceted electronic manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
  • Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning systems and processes
  • Sales & Operations Experience
  • Inventory and stockroom management
  • Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Create presentation materials and give presentations to leadership team, production team, and customers
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to analyze, react, and train on exceptions in MRP, especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and ECOs
  • Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67728 - $115138
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
