Materials Manager / Site Supply Chain & Planning Manager - $120,000–$150,000 + Bonus + Benefits – Winona, Minnesota

Are you a hands-on manufacturing supply chain leader who knows how to keep production, materials, and inventory moving? Do you enjoy leading teams, solving plant-floor challenges, and making planning processes run better?

The role

Energy Talent Search is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire a Materials Manager / Site Supply Chain & Planning Manager for a manufacturing facility in southeastern Minnesota.

This is a high-impact plant leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the operation. You will lead planning, scheduling, materials, inventory, and supply chain activity across the site, helping the plant run smoothly and meet customer demand.

This role may suit someone currently working as a Supply Chain Manager, Materials Manager, Planning Manager, Production Control Manager, Operations Planning Manager, Manufacturing Planning Manager, Inventory Control Manager, or Master Scheduler.

Note: For US citizen or green card holder only and its only open to local Minnesota candidates. CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN MINNESOTA.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Lead production planning and scheduling for the site
  • Manage materials planning to support daily manufacturing needs
  • Improve inventory accuracy, flow, and performance
  • Track key supply chain metrics, including on-time delivery and service levels
  • Work closely with operations, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and customer service
  • Identify better ways to plan, schedule, and manage materials
  • Lead, coach, and develop a supply chain and planning team
  • Use ERP systems and reporting tools to support smart decisions

The person

You will need:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 7–15 years of supply chain, materials, production planning, or manufacturing operations experience
  • Leadership experience within a manufacturing plant
  • Reside in Minnesota
  • Be able to work 5 days a week in the office
  • Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, inventory, and materials flow
  • ERP experience such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Infor, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, QAD, Plex, or similar
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP is a plus, but not required
  • Lean or Continuous Improvement experience would be helpful
