Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager will lead supply chain activities across multiple manufacturing entities within a private equity-

backed fastener manufacturing organization. This position will be responsible for purchasing, material planning, inventory

management, supplier performance, MRP execution, and supply chain process improvement across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, analytical supply chain professional with strong ERP/MRP expertise, and experience in

discrete manufacturing. The individual must be capable of standardizing processes across multiple entities while improving

inventory turns, material availability, purchasing costs, supplier performance, and working capital.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead purchasing, materials planning, inventory control, and supply chain activities across multiple company entities

and facilities.

 Establish standardized supply chain processes, policies, KPIs, and best practices across the organization.

 Serve as a key SyteLine ERP/MRP subject-matter expert, ensuring accurate planning parameters, item data, lead

times, safety stocks, and MRP execution.

 Monitor MRP requirements and proactively identify material shortages, production risks, and supply constraints.

 Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce material and purchasing costs.

 Manage key supplier relationships, negotiations, performance, quality, delivery, and capacity.

 Develop alternate sources and contingency plans for critical materials.

 Optimize inventory levels while maintaining customer service and production requirements.

 Reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and improve inventory accuracy and turns.

 Coordinate material requirements and supply between multiple company entities, including opportunities for

intercompany sourcing and production.

 Develop and monitor supply chain KPIs, including inventory turns, supplier on-time delivery, material shortages,

purchasing savings, inventory levels, and working capital.

 Identify and implement supply chain improvements that directly support EBITDA, cash flow, and operational

performance.

 Support integration and standardization of supply chain processes following acquisitions.

 Lead, develop, and establish accountability for purchasing, planning, and materials personnel.

Qualifications

 7+ years of supply chain, purchasing, materials management, or manufacturing planning experience.

 Strong experience in discrete manufacturing.

 Significant experience with ERP/MRP systems; Infor SyteLine experience strongly preferred.

 Strong understanding of MRP, BOMs, routings, lead times, safety stock, purchasing, and production planning.

 Experience managing supply chain activities across multiple facilities or business entities.

 Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.

 Demonstrated success improving inventory, costs, supplier performance, and working capital.

 Highly analytical and data-driven with strong Excel and ERP reporting skills.

 Hands-on problem solver who can move between strategic planning and day-to-day operational issues.

 Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence multiple operating companies.

 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, private equity-backed environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a results-driven, hands-on supply chain leader with strong manufacturing experience and expertise in

ERP/MRP systems, particularly Infor SyteLine. They should have experience managing multiple entities, improving

purchasing, inventory, supplier performance, and working capital. The successful candidate will be analytical, accountable,

commercially minded, and comfortable driving change in a fast-paced, private equity-backed manufacturing environment.
