As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to help drive growth across our transportation, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
 
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting sales initiatives, developing customer solutions, and maintaining and growing existing accounts. This role requires extensive customer interaction, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and identifying opportunities within logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with customers in freight, delivery, warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, or supply chain environments.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Create press releases, media campaigns, and marketing materials promoting Hackbarth's transportation, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain services.
  • Assist with marketing materials and preparation for trade shows, logistics conferences, and industry events.
  • Create and manage social media content (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Manage customer accounts to retain existing relationships and grow business opportunities.
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within transportation, logistics, warehousing, distribution, delivery, and supply chain sectors.
  • Use traditional and digital communication channels to engage prospective, current, and former customers.
  • Identify customer challenges and recommend transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, and supply chain solutions.
  • Create quotations, proposals, and service recommendations in collaboration with sales staff.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams on pricing and customer solutions.
  • Organize and ensure RFPs, RFIs, and customer questionnaires are completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Ensure new and existing clients are properly established in accounting and billing systems according to contractual agreements.
  • Maintain service agreements and customer documentation in a centralized file library.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  • Maintain accurate customer, sales, and operational data within company systems.
  • Understand and support Hackbarth Delivery Service's goals, policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 1-4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight, supply chain, warehousing, fulfillment, delivery operations, marketing, sales, or customer service.
  • Experience working with logistics providers, transportation companies, warehouses, distribution centers, fulfillment operations, or supply chain organizations preferred.
  • Understanding of transportation, delivery, warehousing, inventory management, distribution, and supply chain solutions.
  • Ability to plan and manage both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
  • Established customer relationships and business development experience preferred.
  • Outstanding consultative selling skills and the ability to work with executive-level customers and partners.
  • Proven success in sales, account management, marketing, or customer relationship management.
  • Experience using CRM, marketing automation, and sales support platforms.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Demonstrated Ability To
  • Work effectively with internal teams, customers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and business partners.
  • Build strong relationships with logistics, transportation, and supply chain stakeholders.
