Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

The CEx Program Specialist, Nvidia provides tactical account management support for Nvidia, with a focus on Photonics Connectivity Solutions (PCS) and advanced data center connectivity solutions.  This role works closely with the CPO Global Account Manager for Nvidia and operates as an extension of the sales team to execute account strategy, fulfill critical customer commitments, and deliver a world-class customer experience across both PCS and DCBU.

This position is responsible for ensuring that Corning Optical Communications consistently delivers on commitments to Nvidia, meets customer expectations, and maintains strong, ongoing customer engagement.  The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally and with assigned accounts to support project delivery schedules by coordinating with Customer Operations, Product Line Management (PLM), Supply Chain, and Manufacturing on large-scale projects.

This role requires a highly organized, customer-focused individual with strong communication and coordination skills, as well as the ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities.  They are a self-starter who builds credibility across teams and customer organizations, supports sales execution and account growth, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tactical account management support to ensure execution of the strategy established by the CPO Global Account Manager for Nvidia, enabling the account team to focus on account growth
  • Develop trusted partnerships with Nvidia and its ODMs to support engagement and expand access for Corning Optical Communications
  • Support the CEx Program Manager in ensuring end-to-end order-to-delivery execution for Nvidia across all products
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional support from Customer Operations, PLM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Deal Desk, Marketing, and Sales, as appropriate, to meet delivery schedules for high-visibility projects and provide detailed project documentation to internal and external customers
  • Coordinate and participate in customer meetings to review project timelines and key metrics
  • Support PLM and Supply Chain forecasting for high visibility projects by updating project information and on-site dates through internal systems and weekly meetings
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Corning Optical Communications products sold to Nvidia, including their applications and use cases
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
  • Strong knowledge of Corning products and markets
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence across functions and customer organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across multiple organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate high-value customers, complex projects, and competing deadlines
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management, attention to detail, and account coordination skills
  • Strong consultative communication skills, including the ability to uncover customer needs, ask insightful questions, and guide productive discussions
  • Proven ability to gather, consolidate, and analyze complex data sets
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite

The range for this position is $75,902.00 - $104,366.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
