Job description

NVIDIA has an exciting position for a Senior Supply Chain Manager role in our Memory Organization. The position requires applying advanced supply chain techniques and memory industry expertise. It encourages memory partners to commit supplies to Nvidia's sharply growing business plans. The role also ensures non-critical-path material availability and supports operational excellence.

This position is a full-time in office opportunity based in HQ office (Santa Clara, California).

What you'll be doing:

  • Own supply commitments for multiple memory product families, and partner with Supply Planners.

  • Drive resolution of Memory supply issues working across Operations, Category leaders, Demand Planning

  • Work closely with Memory partners to remove obstacles or provide resources to meet build plan and align on favorable supply plan

  • Identify build requirements in comparison to suppliers capacity (e.g. fixed install capacity, realistic capacity) and consider supplier elements or other considerations.

  • Use quarterly business engagement and supplier syncs to drive improvements in engagement and provide feedback on operational matters.

  • Partner with Capacity Planning to drive accurate capacity requirements to suppliers and problem-solve constraints

  • Work with BU and Demand Planning on priority tradeoffs, and present summaries on supply shortages and changes in supply to leadership

  • Oversee production schedules considering memory die availability, priorities, materials availability and constraints for NVIDIA's execution teams

  • Oversee transition plan of product revisions based on customer qualification schedules and supply availability

What we need to see:

  • 10+ overall years of Memory Supply Planning experience or related field

  • BA / BS degree (Masters preferred), or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency in Excel and Advanced Planning Software (preferably SAP IBP or APO)

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with senior executive staff

  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and do detailed work, sometimes without planner involvement

  • Excels working in ambiguity - organizational, situational, in system and off system planning

  • Build strong relationships across Ops, Engineering, BU, DP; advocate for supply and push when needed, but still maintain healthy relationships

  • A proven ability to influence supplier selection and allocation

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in multiple supply chain roles and understanding interdependencies (Memory planning, capacity planning, production planning, manufacturing operations, etc.)

  • Experience and proficiency in Analytical tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel

  • Previous experience working with memory suppliers and supplier management

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 128,000 USD - 201,250 USD for Level 4, and 152,000 USD - 247,250 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
