Job description


The Project Manager, Supply Chain, will oversee/lead supply chain projects to ensure efficient and effective operations. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and project management in multiple sectors.
Requirements
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably within supply chain and logistics environments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Identify opportunities for improving supply chain processes and implement best practices.
  • Manage supply chain projects related to procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk management plans as needed.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place for critical supply chain operations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Track project expenses and provide regular financial reports.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and optimize efficiency.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-faced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
