Job description

The role effectively functions as an end-to-end supply chain analyst, requiring cross-functional expertise in transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. Working with key members internally (area management, sales, finance, marketing, logistics) and externally (3PL warehouse, transportation groups). These responsibilities exceed a traditional analyst position focused on a single supply chain function and involve a higher level of strategic analysis, operational decision support, and stakeholder management across multiple business areas.
Supply Chain Improvements & Cost Optimization
Responsible for conducting end-to-end supply chain analysis across inbound logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and outbound distribution to identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service enhancement.
Key responsibilities:
  • Analyze inbound transportation, supplier performance and lead times to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, storage utilization, and order fulfillment performance to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor outbound transportation performance, deliveries efficiencies, freight spend and customer service metrics to reduce logistics costs and enhance service levels.
  • Take ownership to identify risks, opportunities and performance gaps across the end-to-end supply chain organization.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on supply chain disruptions, inventory shortages, excess inventory and service failures.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance KPIs, dashboards, scorecards and performance reports to support data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and recommending process changes that enhance productivity and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Partner with suppliers, logistics providers, warehouse operations, customer service, and planning teams to identify and implement sustainable improvements.
  • At least 5 years previous analytical or planning and logistics experience
  • Experience working in and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Nielsen, or JDA)
  • Analytical background; Must have experience managing multiple large data sets
