POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Packaging Coordinator at 1st Phorm, you will play a key role in developing product packaging that drives brand impact and product sales. You will work cross-functionally with product development, marketing, quality control, and suppliers to design and produce packaging that meets compliance, creative and operational standards. This role requires someone who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and execute high-quality deliverables within tight timelines. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop/update packaging (tray, carton, labels, and film) for a wide range of SKUs across a developing catalog
  • Collaborate with product development, quality control, and operations teams to ensure packaging accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Copywriting and reviewing information on digital artwork + legality of claims to ensure they are sound
  • Setup project with printer and manage all artwork exchange
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to produce packaging materials and ensure production readiness
  • Ensure all packaging meets regulatory requirements in addition to co-man approval
  • Build digital library to track all die lines, by supplier
  • Field and collect all physical copies of dies and contract proofs that come in - signing off on them, reviewing them, mailing and shipping them back out
  • Work closely with marketing and creative teams to ensure packaging aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives
  • Research industry trends and competitive packaging to inform design decisions
  • Maintain organized files and documentation for packaging production and revisions


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Primarily Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent copyright skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills in layout, development, and prepress process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to create technical edits to designs
  • Understanding of printing processes and packaging production (lithographic, digital, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
  • Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback
  • Competitive mindset with a strong desire to improve and win as a team


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with packaging design for consumer-packaged goods (CPG)
  • Experience working with supplement labels and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with 3D packaging software and mockup tools
  • Experience working directly with printers and packaging suppliers
