Company Intro Advanced Interiors is a leading provider of interior finishes for the residential new home market. We also serve retail, remodeling, commercial, and multi-family clients. Our offerings include flooring, cabinetry, and a dedicated Stone Division specializing in the fabrication and installation of granite, marble, and quartz surfaces. Shift Hours Typically Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (can vary)Position Summary The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and performance of all machinery, tools, and facility infrastructure supporting the fabrication and installation of stone surfaces. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of equipment used in stone cutting, polishing, CNC machining, and installation preparation. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on specialized equipment, including sawjets, CNC machines, splash cutting & polishing equipment, and a water recycling system.Establish preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Collaborate with supervisors to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and safety inspections.Monitor inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies; coordinate procurement as needed. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety protocols, and equipment manufacturer guidelines. Train, guide, and oversee maintenance team members to ensure safe and effective task execution. Coordinate with outside vendors and service technicians for specialized repairs. Assist in planning and execution of equipment upgrades or facility improvements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred. 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally within a stone fabrication or manufacturing environment. Proficient in maintaining and repairing CNC machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Strong working knowledge of granite and quartz fabrication equipment and maintenance practices. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints with accuracy. Proven leadership skills with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Key Collaborators Reports to the Stone Division Manager, coordinates with the Production Supervisor, and supervises the Maintenance Assistant. Physical Demands Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, and without posing a risk to personal or team safety.
