Leon Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Worker Led to oversee daily facilities operations, ensure safety and compliance, and guide a team of Maintenance Workers toward excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As our Supervisor Facilities Maintenance, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality, safety, and efficiency of our facilities:
  • Oversee all maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building upkeep.
  • Use YARDI Facilities Manager to manage work orders, track maintenance activities, and generate reports.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.
  • Lead, train, and support a team of Maintenance Workers.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety standards and best practices.
  • Assist with budget planning and cost-control strategies.
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and special projects.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service at all times.

Work Environment
  • Indoor and outdoor work required.
  • Must complete 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed.
  • Active, hands-on role requiring climbing, bending, lifting, and other physical activities.

Qualifications
We're looking for a strong leader with proven technical expertise:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible facilities maintenance experience, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory role overseeing building maintenance operations.
  • Advanced working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, painting, flooring, drywall, life-safety/fire protection, and general building maintenance systems.
  • Ability to supervise skilled trades personnel and contractors, manage preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate repairs across multiple facilities.
  • Proficiency with YARDI Facilities Manager or similar systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and time-management skills.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
