Opportunities Available in Multiple Divisions Transportation Design Division: Manages in-house and consultant design teams for capital improvement projects.
Duties include consultant oversight, project delivery, construction support, reviewing external agency projects, and preparing bids, contracts, and Board items. Also responsible for maintaining design standards, quality control, and staff training. Traffic Division: Function as responsible charge for engineer level design of signing/striping, signals, traffic control plans, and other transportation projects; act a as the lead for traffic investigations, providing guidance to technical staff as directed by the Supervising Engineer; perform plan checking, meetings/engagement with the public as it pertains to Traffic assignments, and general support of other Sections within Traffic.

Education: Forty-five semester (68 quarter) units in civil engineering or a closely related field.
Candidates must provide a list of completed coursework. Experience: Four (4) years of professional experience working as a civil engineer or engineer in a closely related field.
