Job description

INTERNAL JOB OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM
Open to All IIS Associates
Position: Production Group Leader
Section: Assembly BU - 078 RL Comp Sup
Shift: 1st
Basic Functions:
Under the direction of the Forward Lighting Section Supervisor this position is responsible for: Scheduling of daily production. Scheduling of daily overtime when required based on customer requirements and store conditions. A variety of record keeping including but not limited to production boards, process reject control charts, set up verifications, material usage logs and daily input of production. Monitoring of standard work charts and set up verification to ensure they are updated and accurate. Providing direction and training to other associates. The Group Leader will be responsible for adhering to plant rules and company policies as well as leading by example. Position will be required to work overtime on a scheduled and unscheduled basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous or Current Group Leader
* Ability to identify problems within the Molding and/or production environment and take corrective action
* Full understanding of 2's and 3'd procedures
* Strong organization skills
* Detailed understanding of I I Stanley quality systems
* Understanding of how to fill out basic I I Stanley production documentation.
Required Qualifications:
* Associate in good standing (3 and under attendance points)
* Good communication skills; written and verbal. Good organizational skills.
* Leadership experience - Ability to identify problems within the production environment
and take corrective action
* Demonstrated ability to work overtime upon request A.M. or P.M. and weekends
* Molding experience
* Working knowledge with PC
