Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship will support all facets of social media for Mortgage Matchup Center, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives. This role will report to our Senior Social Media Coordinator for Mortgage Matchup Center.
Your Role on the Team:
  • Develop new content strategies for showcasing all the types of events that happen at Mortgage Matchup Center, specifically focused on IG and TikTok
  • Create daily social media content tailored to platform-specific best practices, ensuring optimized engagement and brand consistency
  • Assist in maintaining the social media calendar
  • Engage in community management and customer response across social channels with fans
  • Leverage trending topics and conversations in real-time to capitalize on content opportunities to amplify the voice of Mortgage Matchup Center and other properties.
  • Perform social media tasks on event days by shooting photography, filming fan TikToks and posting across social media channels in real time
  • Quickly recognize and react to trends to grow the Mortgage Matchup Center TikTok account
  • Collaborate with Arena Marketing team on fully integrated marketing plans for event promotion and event fan experiences
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for entertainment, music and events
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possesses a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive information
  • Ability to be professional with high-profile talent
  • A passion for social media strategy and community building online
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, evenings, weekends, holidays

Experience/ Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous internship or college experience in managing social pages in entertainment space (preferred)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Premiere/Photoshop (preferred)
  • Experienced content creator, shooter, and editor to execute content in real time across multiple platforms (preferred)
  • Experience supporting social strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Threads, Snapchat, and other emerging platforms
  • Subject matter expert on social media platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and create unique social content
