Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and negotiation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and successful project execution by developing procurement strategies and fostering strong supplier relationships. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Quality, Project Management, and Operations), manage supplier negotiations and performance reviews, and much more.

You'll specifically take care of supporting the SunRail O&M site on all procurement activities (including stock replenishment, services, and projects), but also ensuring alignment with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives.

We'll look to you for:

  • Supporting the SunRail O&M site on all procurement activities (stock replenishment, services, and projects).

  • Ensuring project execution in line with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives.

  • Piloting local contractual relationships with suppliers.

  • Identifying project and business needs.

  • Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation (RFQ) with suppliers using the standard tool.

  • Negotiating cost reductions with suppliers.

  • Providing inputs for order placement and ensuring QCD target achievement, including claims management.

  • Leading supplier performance reviews and managing initial issues before escalation.

  • Consolidating commodity needs and actively participating in commodity strategy and panel elaboration.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convince others.

  • Negotiation skills.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Respect for ethical conduct and adherence to Alstom's Code of Ethics.

  • Fluent in English.
