POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of your Foreman/Supervisor primarily responsible to operate assigned Dozer/heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to complete the task assigned.
DUTIES:
- Dozer operation includes ripping, blending, and pushing material to crusher, stripping clay and topsoil, and slope banks.
- Responsible for installing safety ledges.
- Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accidents or undue maintenance or repair work.
- Assist and work with others on production crews.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred 1-2 years experience in operating a dozer.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and to work independently.
- Attention and commitment to safety required.
- Must be willing to work various shifts.

- May frequently be required to walk over uneven ground.
- May frequently be required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time.
- Needs to be able to communicate well to receive and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements.
- Must frequently be able to lift and/or carry 0 - 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. May occasionally lift items over their head.
- May frequently be required to climb up and down equipment via steps and/or short vertical ladders.
