Job description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity in Floresville, Texas. Position Details

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Floresville, TX
Employer: Sunbelt Staffing
Schedule: 5 Days Per Week (Fall Semester), 4 Days Per Week (Spring Semester)
Setting: School-Based

Caseload Information

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to K-8 students
  • Serve students across elementary and middle school grade levels
  • Schedule includes 5 days per week during the fall semester and 4 days per week during the spring semester
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plan
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Support students' communication skills in academic and social settings
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with state, district, and special education guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education services preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
